Do I have to clean it?No. Nothing to clog

No. Most grinders use metal or plastic teeth, and sticky herbs build up between them. Every one we have owned ended up jamming. The idoobi has no teeth. A spinning stainless steel chain does the grinding inside a smooth chamber, so there is nothing to clog, scrape or soak.

After the first uses, a fine film of dust coats the inside and the corner near the rim fills in. It then stays at that level and does not keep building. We have used one for a year without cleaning it, and we just keep using it. Every other grinder we have owned stopped working properly at some point if it was not cleaned.

How do I control the grind?Hold 3 s coarse · 5 s medium · 8 s fine

Press and hold the top. The idoobi grinds for as long as you hold and stops the moment you let go. The longer you hold, the finer it gets.

There are no dials or settings. If the grind looks too coarse through the clear chamber, press again for a second or two.

What comes in the box?Grinder · USB-C cable · spare chain

Each idoobi comes with the grinder, a USB-C charging cable, and a spare stainless steel grinding chain, so you are covered if the chain ever wears out. The herbs shown in the photo are not included.

How long does one charge last?62 to 90 grinds, over two months

The idoobi has a 1200 mAh rechargeable battery that runs 62 to 90 grinds per charge. At one grind a day, that is more than two months between charges.

A full charge takes 1 to 2 hours by USB-C. The light is red while it charges and turns off when the battery is full.

What can the idoobi grind?Dried herbs · not damp · not coffee beans

The idoobi grinds dried herbs, and the drier the herbs are, the better it grinds. It does not grind damp or fresh herbs, and it is not made for coffee beans.

Dry herbs shatter when the chain hits them. Damp herbs bend instead of breaking, so they come out clumpy. If a load is not grinding well, the herbs usually need more drying, not more time.

How loud is the idoobi?About as loud as an electric toothbrush

The idoobi is about as loud as an electric toothbrush.

It also only runs for a few seconds at a time, so there is very little noise to speak of. Nobody in the next room will notice.

Where does idoobi ship, and how long does delivery take?Ships in 1 to 2 days · delivery 1 to 5 business days

idoobi ships to Canada and the United States. Orders ship within 1 to 2 business days, and delivery takes 1 to 5 business days. Orders ship from a warehouse in your own country, so there are no import duties.

Canadian orders ship from inside Canada and US orders ship from inside the United States. Nothing crosses the border on its way to you, so there are no customs delays and no surprise fees at the door.

What is the return policy?90 days, even if used

You can return your idoobi within 90 days of delivery for a refund of the product price, even if you have used it. It does not need to be unused or in its original packaging. You pay the return shipping.

Call or text 1-604-366-6676, or email support@idoobi.ca, first to get the return address. Ninety days is a long window on purpose, so you have time to use it and decide.

What warranty comes with the idoobi?1 year included

Every idoobi includes a 1-year warranty.

If the grinder has a fault in the first year, contact us and we will put it right. You can also extend the cover to five years when you order.
