This policy explains what personal information idoobi collects when you visit idoobi.ca or place an order, and what we do with it. idoobi is operated by Theroux Innovation Inc., based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number if you give one, and what you ordered.
- Payment details: your card is processed by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
- Messages: anything you send us by email or through a contact form.
- Site usage: basic technical data such as your browser type, the pages you view, and your approximate location, collected through cookies and analytics tools.
How we use it
- To process and ship your order, and to send you order and shipping updates.
- To handle returns, warranty claims and questions.
- To keep records the law requires, such as tax records.
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
- To send you marketing emails, only if you asked for them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the companies that help us run the store, and only what each one needs:
- our payment provider, to take payment
- shipping carriers and fulfillment partners, to deliver your order
- our website host and email service, to run the site and send messages
- government authorities, when the law requires it
Some of these companies store data outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held there is subject to the laws of that country.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as tax and business law requires, and for the length of your warranty. We delete or anonymize information we no longer need.
Cookies
The site uses cookies to keep your cart working and to measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The store will still work, though some features may not.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the personal information we hold about you
- correct it if it is wrong
- delete it, where the law allows
- stop sending you marketing emails
Email support@idoobi.ca and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the privacy regulator in your province or state.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections and limited access. No online service can promise perfect security. If a breach puts you at real risk of harm, we will tell you.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new date.
